About your role

We are currently looking to recruit an IT Recruitment Consultant to join our successful Technologies team. With an established desk, you'll focus on placing temporary & permanent candidates across a wide range of roles within the Commercial Tech space.

The IT commercial recruitment team in Sydney is headed up by Patrick Egan. Patrick has been working in IT recruitment for over 15 years and he really leads by example to get the best out of his team. Patrick is an honest and collaborative manager who thrives on seeing his teams achieving their goals.

Across the team they specialise in government & commercial IT Recruitment, placing mostly Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Engineers, Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Information Architects, Cyber Security and Business Intelligence staff in a range of companies.

Responsibilities include

  • 360 end to end recruitment
  • Business development with new and existing clients
  • Market mapping
  • Nurture and grow client relationships
  • Plan and execute hiring strategies

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for a driven, outgoing recruitment consultant who is passionate about delivering the best service to partner with both candidates and clients in a consultative style. You'll have a can-do and positive outlook and be able to successfully work with senior client stakeholders.

  • IT recruitment experience - ideally in the commercial space
  • Proven success in sales and / or recruitment
  • You enjoy sales, are not afraid to pick up the phone
  • Proactive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • You like working closely with your team as well as independently
  • Experience hitting KPI's
  • Resilient
