      COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR - OPEN ARMS - LAUNCESTON/HOBART, TASThe position aims to optimise a client’s wellbeing and participation in their community through community engagement, collaborative recovery work and complex case management. The position incorporates the development and maintenance of community partnerships and the provision of direct evidence informed support to individuals and/or their families. The position also focuses on team leadership, service design, delivery and evaluation.Here is your chance to give back! ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with clients and internal and external stakeholders to enhance Open Arm’s ability to identify and respond to the needs of vulnerable and at risk veterans, current and former Defence Force members and/or their families. Duties include:Intake assessment and referral, complex case management and case coordination to clients with identified complex and/or multiple needsParticipate in community development and service promotion activitiesMaintain clinical records, collate and analyse data and prepare reports to assist in evaluating and improving service deliveryLiaise with other government agencies and community organisationsWork within collaborative recovery and stepped care models ABOUT YOU:Qualified Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Nurses must have current AHPRA registrationAASW registered Social Workers eligible to apply for Mental Health accreditationMust have or be able to attain a Working with Children Check or Vulnerable Peoples CheckMinimum 3 years relevant experienceAustralian citizen (federal government requirement) YOUR BENEFITS:$60 to $65 p/h + 10% superannuation, paid weeklyMonday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours / week)Supportive team with a push to see you succeed personally and professionallyGenuine opportunity to support vulnerable and/or at risk clients and enhance wellbeingIf this position appeals to you, please don't hesitate to apply!
