The NSW Team is expanding, creating exciting opportunities to join the Regional Leadership group in ensuring the delivery of high quality, leading edge mental health interventions including counselling, group programs, peer support and care coordination. ABOUT THE ROLE: As Assistant Director, you will oversee the quality of client care by providing clinical oversight and complex case management, within a stepped-care model of service provision, reporting to the Regional Director. Duties include: Line management such as recruitment, selection, induction, supervision, and performance management of Complex Case Management & Community Engagement TeamActively contribute to Open Arms National projects, clinical policies and procedures, case management practices and Quality Assurance activitiesEstablish and maintain effective strategic relationships with specialist service providers and develop relevant referral pathways within the regionRepresent Open Arms at stakeholder events; participate in clinical and team meetings, and contribute to the management, departmental projects and committees.Ensure all clinical work undertaken in the region is conducted in accordance with the governance requirements of Open Arms ABOUT YOU:AASW registered Social Worker, OR AHPRA registered Psychologist, OR Mental Health Registered Nurse or Occupational TherapistExtensive mental health clinical experienceRelevant management experience within clinical settingsExperience in mental health complex case managementAustralian citizen (federal government requirement) THE BENEFITS:$70 to $80 p/h + 9.5% superannuation, paid weeklyMonday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours / week) 1 year initial contract with view to extendThe team is “lived experience” informed and resourcedThis role is one of two Assistant Director positions in the region, overseeing a dedicated team If this position appeals to you, apply today!
