        MENTAL HEALTH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR - OPEN ARMS - WINNELLIE Here is your chance to positively impact the lives of people who have served their country! Due to increased Government funding, an opportunity is available for a suitably qualified mental health professional to work with a leading federal government organisation, based in Winnellie. ABOUT THE ROLE: Enhance Open Arm's ability to identify and respond to the needs of vulnerable and at risk veterans, current and former defence force members and/or their families. Being a true professional all intervention implemented will be evidence based with tried and proven results. Duties include: Coordinate the activities of the Community Engagement TeamEnsure optimisation of wellbeing and participation in the community through community engagement, collaborative recovery work and complex case managementPropose and facilitate innovation initiatives that contribute to evidence informed business improvement strategiesLiaise and form partnerships with key external stakeholdersCommunity development and service promotionProvide feedback on Open Arm's policies and procedures ABOUT YOU: AHPRA registered Psychologist or Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist, OR AASW registered Accredited Mental Health Social WorkerWorking with Children Check &/or Vulnerable Peoples Check or ability to attainRelevant experience within hospital and acute mental health settingsManagement experience within clinical settingsAustralian citizen (federal government position requirement)THE BENEFITS: $60 to $65 p/h + 9.5% superannuation, paid weeklyMonday to Friday flexible start & finish time (37.5 hours / week)Supportive team with a push to see you succeed personally and professionallyGenuine opportunity to support vulnerable and/or at risk clients and enhance wellbeingIf this position appeals to you, please don't hesitate to apply!
