Attending tender meetings and site visitsNegotiating competitive quotations from suppliers and contractorsAdvising project managers on budget, contractual requirements and resources Consulting with clients, vendors, designers and other stakeholders to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues;Able to read and interpret Mechanical / Electrical and implement processes Analysing completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs;Interfacing with company stakeholders to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates;Communicating project information to delivery team;Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures within Mechanical / Electrical and civil aspects of estimation.Developing innovative material inputs and construction / mechanical methods to reduce cost.Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement efforts.Preparing construction methodologies and project schedules for tender submissions.
