      The Senior SCADA and Controls Engineer will report to the Grid Schedule & SCADA Manager to assist the clients technical sales, project, and service support within Australia. Ideally the role will be based in Sydney. However, the client is open to candidates to work from an Interstate office.The purpose of the role is to:1. Design and implement a SCADA system to meet project requirements, and ensuring best engineering practices are applied.2. Conduct design reviews of SCADA systems with National grid companies, contractors and suppliers to ensure proposed design meets project requirements and deliverables.3. Interface with R&D teams to validate the clients SCADA design and ensure market specific enhancements to the clients SCADA system are considered.4. Manage the installation and commissioning of SCADA systems and related interfaces5. Develop and conduct Factory and Site Acceptance Testing for SCADA systems.6. Ensure SCADA software changes adhere to version control best practices.7.
