An opportunity now exists for staff to be involved in the department’s new employment services purchasing activities.Your new position In your role as an EL1 and EL2 Quality Assessor, you are working within a supportive federal government environment, Quality Assessors are responsible for overseeing the quality and consistency of assessmentsAs an Assessor, your duties will be:As a Quality Assessor, you are responsible for reading each response assessed by the assessor and ensure the Assessment report reflects the descriptor.A Quality Assessor does not participate in the assessment of any bids and does not make an independent assessment of a bid.Quality Assessors are required to manage the quality of the output of each assessor they manage. They will need to question why a particular descriptor has been determined, whether they agree or disagree, and if the language used supports the descriptorA Moderator’s review must consider if the analysis and written report truly reflects the bidassessed, and ensure that Assessment Reports are free from grammatical or spelling errors. Your Skills and Experience To be considered for this role you would have skills & experience in the following to be a successful Assessor:Responsibility for the assessors assigned to them.Managing both the quality and quantity of output by Assessors.Overseeing the consistency of assessments between each of their assessors.Ensure all assessment tools have been utilised as required.Australian citizenship is essentialMust have a current police check (no more than 3 months old) or have the ability to obtain a police before the commencement date of Mid-August. Candidates without a police check will not be considered for these opportunities.
