      Your New Company/Role:As an established and reputable boutique CPA accounting firm, my client is looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join their growing team, due to their remarkable track record and growth in their business. This is a permanent full time position for the right candidate who is eager to grow in their career and within the accounting industry.They report and lodge for over 700 entities including trusts, cos, SMSFs and their stakeholders The firm had 30% growth over the last 12 months which is remarkable in covid, and still has the capacity for potential growth. About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:A work environment that is flexible and nurturing as well as encourages professional growth to aid in your career progression, your main responsibilities will be but not limited to:Preparation of BAS/IASConducting tax related researchPreparing accounts for the sole traders, partnerships, companies and trustsPreparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and super funds.Preparing management accounts for clientsDealing with ATO on behalf of clients in relation to all ATO matters including the assessments, SAP applications, ITWV applications, audit/reviews requested by ATO, objections of ATO decisions etcPreparing and lodging Fringe Benefit Returns on behalf of clientsDealing with ASIC on behalf of clientsPreparing and lodging PAYG summaries, Payroll tax annual reconciliations and worker compensation annual summaries on behalf of clientsAttend client meetings with either Managers or Partners and contribute where necessaryAssist with any ad hoc duties as assigned Ideal ProfileThis opportunity is for someone who has prior experience within a public accounting firm.
