      An exceptional chance to work with our client, a local city council, to support the P&C department with HR generalist support. This position will support the development and delivery of effective human resources systems, frameworks, policies, procedures, special projects and services that align to the organisation’s overall objectives. This role will be extensively involved in the recruitment activities of the council in addition to supporting the local depot in IR/ER activities. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in local government whilst developing advisory skills within a small and supporting P&C team. The key responsibilities of this role entails:End-to-end recruitmentDesigning, developing and implementing HR initiatives improving performance, engagement and staff wellbeingEnsuring advice, strategies and related documentation are compliant with relevant legislation and consistent with best practice HR principlesWork closely with Managers to provide timely HR support servicesMaintain workplace information and prepare reports Provide administration support for HR processes and systemsAbout youThe successful candidate will be bubbly, energetic and have excellent customer service.
