    Our client is a Queensland State Government department who are focused on improving the lives of our residents by increasing social, economic and digital inclusion. Working within a strong and committed property team, you will assist in providing property expertise and administrative support to the department. Duties: Assist by providing timely and well researched property information relevant to strategic decisionsAssist in the preparation of the monthly and periodic business reports and ensure they are collated and delivered on timeWork cooperatively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to assist with the delivery of timely property reviewsAssist in the coordination and collection of data, advice and/or opinion from a range of external sources related to technical, professional, valuation or town planningApply understanding of the property information sourcedContribute to the sourcing of land for capital delivery requirements including acquisition of land, development or redevelopment of existing holdingsUnderstand the impacts of planning scheme on the department’s property portfolio identifying redevelopment opportunities aligned with departmental strategic and regional asset management plans, precinct plans and property market conditionsConduct property market research and analysis to inform decision making and the provision of advice to stakeholders and management in relation to efficient management of the portfolioPrepare correspondence, briefings, reports, information papers and submissions, and other relevant documentation as required Skills & Experience:Tertiary qualification in Property EconomicsStrong understanding of property matters, preferably including town planning and site due diligence It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives.
