      The branch is offering the successful applicant a 12 month APS5 opportunity and with a possibility of extension. they are also open to offering the role as an hourly rate contract or can facilitate a Section 26 transfer from other Government Departments if required.As a part of this branch you will be encouraged, provided with supportive leadership and friendly workplace culture.Key responsibilities will be:Assist in the development and implementation of end-to-end government communication strategies and activitiesUsing various communication channels and evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities across all platforms.Developing content for a range of mediums including web, social and print.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders within policy/program areas, ministerial staff and departmental executivesYour Skills and Experience:Minimum 2 years of professional communications experience or a Degree in Communications/Media/JournalismDemonstrated experience writing, editing, and proofreading a range of content across multiple communications channelsPrevious experience developing and implementing communication strategies Experience managing strong relationships and communicating effectively with external and internal stakeholdersThe PersonIn order to be successful in this role you will be an Australian citizen, come with exceptional writing experience and have degree qualifications in the field.
