    Exercise Physiologist - Townsville Are you looking for a great opportunity to join a nationally recognised charity? You will help to make positive changes and impact your clients and families lives and futures. About your new workplace:As an Exercise Physiologist you will be delivering informed evidence based treatments to veterans and their families working within an experienced and supportive multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will address physical injury and chronic disease management whilst providing a combination of individual and group exercise sessions, lead education programs for small groups and liaise with relevant internal and external providers. Additionally, you may be required to engage with stakeholders in the community to promote our service offerings to relevant stakeholders. Responsibilities include:Undertaking physiological assessments with clients, which may at times include young people and familiesTreat in a one-on-one clinical setting within the AEP scope of practice, including planning a continuum of care.Deliver group-based interventions which may include circuit training, hydrotherapy, mat work, education and eventsParticipate in short term residential programs, including attendance and acting as a subject matter expert in the selection process to determine physical suitability of a client to undertake the programProvide clinical advice, peer supervision and debriefing to staff, as appropriateMaintain currency of contemporary practices within professional field and challenges facingDefence cohort to support delivery of relevant physical rehabilitation servicesSupport the Clinical Lead Physical Recovery in the delivery of projects, events and services.
