      Exciting opportunity for a Project Manager seeking a new opportunity. We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a local SA council, based in the Southern suburbs of Adelaide. This is a 3 year fix-term contract role.Position Objectives: Responsible for the effective scoping, design, procurement and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including, roads, storm-water, street and landscaping, structures, environmental projects and building projects as required.Key Responsibilities: Project manage or provide professional input for the delivery of nominated infrastructure and building projects and programs. Ensure services provided are customer-focused, timely and of a consistently appropriate standard.Promote a positive corporate image of the Council and provide a high level of customer service in all dealings with the community.Required Skills & Knowledge:Solid knowledge of civil engineering design and construction techniques including but not limited to: o building construction o storm-water infrastructure, o road, o footpath, and o traffic management. Possesses project management skills that show a history of delivering projects on time, on budget and within scope in accordance with standard project management processes such as PIMBOK or Prince2. Demonstrated high level reporting skills. Well developed financial management skills. Sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction methodologies. High level contractor and consultant management skills. Sound use of computer software including Word, Excel and Microsoft Project. High level communication and negotiation skills. Effective analytic and interpretive skills.
