    Are you an experienced Applications Specilist with Technology 1? We are recruiting for a temporary casual opportunity to work as a Randstad contractor for one of our South Australia Government clients. This role will be based in our client’s Adelaide CBD office. About the companyOur client is a local government council based in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. TasksDevelop and maintain a thorough understanding of the applications within this portfolio, including vendor roadmapsWork with stakeholders to identify how current or planned functionality within applications in this portfolio can improve or optimize business processes Technical system administrator for applications within this portfolio and working closely with relevant business system administratorsPlan and oversee upgrades to applications within this portfolio, including performing the role of release coordinator under change management processesPerform incident and problem management functions for the applications within this portfolioAvailability and capacity planning functions for the applications within this portfolioProvide operational cover for other application specialists and the applications within their portfolios, as required Develop and maintain a roadmap for applications within this portfolioWork closely with relevant application vendors, including the account team and support staffCreate, maintain and update relevant documentation Skills and experience required:Demonstrated experience in the application domain with a focus on Technology 1 and Fusion 5Minimum of three years’ experience exploiting and supporting of corporate solutionsDemonstrated experience and understanding of contemporary application frameworks, languages, SQL reporting services, web services and application programing interfacesExperience working within an ICT operations framework, including incident, problem, change, release and service continuity management practices and processesExperience delivering and coordinating projectsDemonstrated experience of working with application vendorsDemonstrated experience working with closely-related domain specialists, such as database administrators and server and network engineers BenefitsThe role will pay a commensurate government salary paid at a range from $57.88 to $61.72 + 10% Super How to applyClick the 'apply for this job' button just above or email Niru Dassanayake from Randstad during business hours on niru.dassanayake@randstad.com.au for an initial (confidential) discussion.
