    About the DepartmentOur client is a Federal government department that works on the COVID-19 Vaccine Taskforce to monitor, manage and coordinate the National COVID vaccine rollout, by ensuring simple, efficient and transparent delivery of vaccines to the Australian population. Recruitment is under process now so don’t miss out and apply now.Job DescriptionThe Reporting and Intelligence Team is responsible for analysing situations and trends and assessing information to inform decision makers within the Vaccine Operations Room (VOR). Through the implementation of a continuous intelligence cycle, the Team ensures the VOR operates with a superior level of situations and operational awareness. The Reporting and Intelligence Team achieves superior awareness through generating a common understanding of the effects of real world issues, analysing current and emerging trends and the promulgation of ad-hoc and routine reporting.Your responsibilities will include but not limited to Managing the allocation of vaccines and consumables along with the tracking of deliveries.Reporting on vaccination rates and responding to incidents.Working on achieving a structure that consists of an operations component, insights and data, communications, logistics and planning, incident management and clinical specialists.Your dutiesKnow and understand the Critical Information Criteria (CIC). Collect and analyse information pertaining to the CIC or as directed by the R&I Manager. Identify and assess real world events that could impact COVID19 Task Force Operations. Analyse and assess trending issues identified within the VOR. Establish access to all relevant reporting and data collection systems. Be prepared and able to brief the R&I Manager and/or VOC/ VOR leadership on emerging trends or priority information requests (priority CICs). Collect/Collate information for input to daily/weekly SITREP. Liaise with Data & Intel Cell for Ad-Hoc report generation.Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)/Checklist: Incident Management Plan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Issues Management Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Cold Chain Breach Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Adverse Events Following Immunisation Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Business process, FlowchartsSkills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate qualifications in data science or data analytic and an experience in operational activities relating to the supply, distribution and administering of the vaccine as well as the programmatic functions supporting the roll out.Desirable knowledge:Intelligence analysis skills and knowledge of the intelligence cycle.The department's requirements, processes and policies, or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge.This role requires the successful candidate to be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Preference may be given to applicants with an active clearance.
