      Who we areWe are the biggest outdoor water park in Southern metro Adelaide. Located in the City of Marion, Marion Outdoor Pool is Adelaide’s premier outdoor pool with its stunning grassed areas, three pools, two large waterslides and new splash park features. The role (Swimming Instructor)Randstad are now seeking applications from experienced swimming instructors and lifeguards for the upcoming season. This Centre runs a Learn to Swim program which offers swimming lessons 4 days a week for children as young as three years old through to adults. Successful applicants will need to be available for part/all of these lesson times. As a Swimming Instructor, you will have a desire to encourage people of all ages to learn the vital life skill of swimming. You will be energetic and enjoy working with children. Teaching swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety guidelines to studentsEnhance the swimming abilities of more experienced swimmersFacilitating the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs accordingly.Monitoring students to prevent accidents and injuries. QualificationsSwimming Instructors are required to possess the following certificates:AUSTSWIM Certificate / Active TrainingProvide CPRChild Related DCSI ClearanceChild Safe Environments Certificate (Responding to Abuse and Neglect) The role (Lifeguard)Lifeguards are an integral part of the team and provide high level of safety to all patrons to create an enjoyable and safe environment. Along with maintaining pool safety, all Lifeguards will assist in the maintaining a high quality facility and contribute to a positive and energetic atmosphere.Supervising the pools and the surrounding areas Teaching the public about the Watch Around Water guidelinesEnsure the safety of patrons both inside and outside the poolsResponding appropriately to emergency situationsQualificationsLifeguards are required to possess the following certificates:Pool Lifeguard AwardFirst Aid Certificate + CPRChild Related DCSI ClearanceChild Safe Environments Certificate (Responding to Abuse and Neglect) How to applyTo be successful in securing a position, you will hold the above certificates, or be willing to obtain certification prior to induction training.
