    We are recruiting for multiple temporary casual Policy Officer opportunities to work as a Randstad contractor at one of our commonwealth government clients. The engagement will initially be for six months with potential for extension for another six months.These roles will be suitable for candidates with experience equivalent to APS5 to EL1.About the RolesMultiple positions for those experienced in policy and legislation development are available to support the work of the project over the next 12 months. These positions offer an opportunity to work on a once in a life-time reform legislation. Candidates who have experience in policy and legislation development in any sector are encouraged to consider if their skills and expertise align with the duties of the roles available. Responsibilities:The duties of the roles (depending on the level of engagement) would include but are not limited to: supporting or leading the development of policy and legislation supporting or leading the preparation of drafting instructions for the Office of Parliamentary Council to prepare the new legislative framework supporting or leading the preparation of reports and policy discussion papers for review reviewing existing legislation and historical levies policies to shape the new legislative framework liaising with other policy, regulatory and operational areas in the department and across government. Role Requirements:Experience in large government reforms or policy development. Experience in legislative reform and legislation development is highly desirable, but not essential. Security Clearance – These positions require a Baseline Vetting security clearance. You will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level. More senior positions will also require the following skills and capabilities: ability to provide sound advice on complex matters to the executive and the minister ability to influence outcomes that are evidence based ability to manage strategic directions while achieving team outcomes experience working in a legal policy/legislative reform role including research, preparing drafting instructions, policy papers, briefing material and analytical reporting would be an advantage, but not essential. Located in the City of Tea Tree Gully, Waterworld boasts three swimming pools, three waterslides and a children’s interactive splash pad area. The roleRandstad is now recruiting experienced swimming instructors for Waterworld for January 2022 - April 2022. Waterworld runs a Learn to Swim program which offers swimming lessons 6 days a week for children as young as 6 months old through to adults. Successful applicants will need to be available for part/all of these lesson times.As a Swimming Instructor, you will have a desire to encourage people of all ages to learn the vital life skill of swimming. You will be energetic and enjoy working with children and adults.
