      Full Time Contract OpportunityASAP until May 2022 (with view to extend) Gold Coast Location Our client is a Queensland State Government client who mange the road and transport infrastructure across the state.In the role of Engineer (Civil), you will provide technical advice to ensure efficient and effective asset management of state-controlled road infrastructure within the region. Duties:Conduct assessments of road infrastructure assets following updated engineering best practice and prepare reports on recommended engineering solutions to particular asset conditions from a life cycle perspectiveAnalyse infrastructure condition data along with traffic, environment, economic and other relevant parameters in a big-data platform to develop whole of life asset management treatments optionsSupport asset management strategies for transport infrastructure that minimise whole of life costs across the elementsProvide support and advice on the planning and design process including business cases development, to ensure delivery of program outcomes, value for money and best practice are achievedDetermine the engineering requirements, including materials, critical components and systems, involved in supporting project management and deliveryMaintain and apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary for the design and construction of road infrastructure projects Skills & Experience:A Degree in Civil Engineering combined with relevant industry experience It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives.
