      About your new company I am currently working in partnership with a large civil infrastructure company who has a national presence with over 16 branches across Australia. Their extensive experience has positioned them as market leaders within various sectors such as engineering, construction and remediation solutions in Defence, Oil and Gas, Marine, Industrial and Commercial industries. The roleDue to an expanding portfolio of awarded contracts, they are seeking experienced Site Managers to join their defence team in Sydney. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be primarily responsible for managing the remediation works on various defence sites across the state.ResponsibilitiesManaging and coordinating direct labour and subcontractors on various defence projects Overseeing quality, safety and environmental processesScheduling and co-ordination of construction worksEnsuring delivery of project milestones in accordance with deadlines and budgetConducting detailed SWMS reviewsSite Management of the project from set up to completionEnsuring compliance with HSEQ requirementsCoordinating direct labour and subcontractorsProject progress reporting to the Project ManagementLiaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program About youDemonstrated experience in a Site Manager role within a reputable contractorDefence experience highly regardedTeam player with solid negotiation and influencing skillsFrontline management experienceExcellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop employees and build strong successful teamsTrade certificationCert IV in OHS is advantageous Please note: All defence roles require a current police clearance to be provided during the recruitment process.
