The Role You will be required to project manage the development of restaurant projects, both new restaurant builds and existing restaurant renovations - right from preparation, design and planning stages; through to opening / re-opening day, leading and managing all processes in-between (including but not limited to design, construction, authority approvals and tenancy installations etc). The role will work closely with their builders and in partnership with them, will proactively project manage and coordinate trades on site, providing the best opportunity for the company to achieve both timely and cost-effective development processes.Key Responsibilities:Ensure an understanding of the brand facility standards of restaurant type, design, decor, equipment procurement, signage, etc to ensure that all standards are met and maintained.Conduct end to end project management for new builds and major/minor refurbishments.Plan, organise and direct projects through the entire project lifecycle - initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing of projectManage estimates and tenders for projects through engaging with and selecting companies / tradespeople based on price, reputation, quality and reliability.Source, procure and manage relevant and necessary materials for new builds and refurbishments.Maintain records in a very orderly and organised manner, including document system, procedures for development processes, project costs and forecasts for existing and proposed developments.Ensure the Company Group Facility Network Plan and Project Timeline are kept up to date to meet the agreed facility strategy and to maintain a schedule to track the plan.Support the rollout of various development led and development supported initiatives to support the company’s requirements (for example, rolling out the procurement and installation of digital self-order kiosks across the network, or upgrading the signage across all restaurants of the entire network).Assist in administering the development and delivery process of projects including initial cost preparation, design, construction, authority approvals and tenancy installations.Liaise and build effective relationships with consultants, contractors, builders, architects, landlords, government authorities and key stakeholders involved with the companies development projects.Review and recommend payment of invoices, operating costs, project costs and other costs associated with the management of the specific projects.Participate in the development of annual budget and operating plan for the development portfolio and ensure appropriate sign off for Profit and Loss reports.Co-ordinate, attend and minute meetings with stakeholders as and when required.Proactively initiate and develop quality improvements to team systems and practices.Follow all WHS procedures and practices in accordance with relevant practices and policiesCoordinate multiple projects over a vast geographic area providing comprehensive documentation.Prepare oral and written reports and maintain tracking systems.Skills and Experience Degree in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management.2-3 years experience in Project Management or Project Coordination in the commercial and/or industrial sectors.Exceptional attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlinesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Appropriate level of negotiation, problem solving, follow up and assisting in decision making skills.Must encompass a high work ethic, be proactive with the ability to work autonomouslyStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.How to apply:If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, simply hit the ‘apply now’ tab on the advert, or call Louise de Gier (0449 238 663) or email louise.degier@randstad.com.au to discuss your suitabilityAt Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
