      About the role:The Tax Manager is responsible for Group Tax Reporting to Parent Company: quarterly tax effect accounting and commentary, month end income tax calculations. This is a 12-14 month contract position covering parental leave. Key accountability's of the Tax Manager include: tax effect accounting, tax reporting, preparing tax calculations, tax notes and statutory notes. Located in Sydney CBD, the position is flexible working up to 3 days per week at home. About you:To be success for the position you will have previous experience working as a Tax Manager along with the following:CA, CPA, Masters of Tax or Law desirable but not requiredExcellent understanding of the principles and practice of corporate taxation in Australia;A strong understanding of tax effect accounting for large businessKnowledge of employment tax and fringe benefits would be beneficialExcellent project management to manage the tax compliance and reporting processesIf you are interested in this position and you feel like your skills and experience match the role, please apply within.
