      Senior surveyor You will be working for a multi award winning civil contractor that delivers major essential infrastructure across Australia. They have over 30 years of local experience within the Australian market, they have earned a solid reputation for delivering complex, innovative projects that often include difficult staging, engineering and environmental challenges, logistical constraints and stakeholder impacts. The role The nature of this project will be located just outside of the ACT where you will be situated for the next 12 months. This will include plans for surveying on sections of projects including economic planning, compliance with legal requirements, You will be liaising with the Project managers and Survey manager and assist to supervise, instruct and coordinate survey personnel on the project including subcontractors where applicable. Duties of the rolePrepare and supervise, or undertake surveys required to control location and quality of engineering developments and meet contractual and quality assurance obligations throughout the project.Design, establish and maintain spatial control networks, maintaining core data bases, determining spatial relationships within land and geographic information systems.Coordinate or carry out site set-out on earthworks, highway/ rail, structural works and utilities contracts, including set up of equipment for survey use, creation of digital models for GNSS and machine control.Manage and maintain a register of survey equipment and calibration records.
