My client has expanded rapidly and is now seeking an ambitious and experienced Finance Manager to be part of their energetic team. About the OpportunityReporting to a Director of Finance, you will provide support within their core financial processes such as; propose strategic improvements for the overall processes, end-to-end accounting and reporting to make a real difference to business’s success with 4 direct reports. This is an initial fixed term role for 12 months with a view to permanency. Your main responsibilities will be but aren’t limited to:Supervising and coordinating monthly reporting and reconciliationsQuarterly budget and weekly forecast processes Preparing management reportsMonitoring cash flowsProviding insights on the financial performance of the organisationEnsuring the business meets all its statutory obligations and compliancePerforming cost-reduction opportunitiesParticipating in monthly finance, audit, risk and governance committee meetingsMaintaining and improving forecasts and financial model Assisting in driving business strategy, monitoring risk and financial implications of significant decisionsIdentify opportunities to streamline processes and improve controlsLead the AR, AP, Payroll and Accountant to meet targets acctAd hoc tasks or duties as required by the Director of FinanceIdeal ProfileCA/CPA Qualified with proven experience working within a Not For Profit/Healthcare/Education sector (desirable not mandatory)Strong competence in using IT systemsExperience in TechnologyOne software (desirable not mandatory) or other accounting softwaresStrong advanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to take ownership of tasksAbility to create plans and strategies for long-term financial growthHighly skilled in problem solving and process improvementAbility to communicate and articulate complex issues well within the team and to other stakeholders Excellent rapport building skillsExcellent time management skills to prioritize and plan workloads to meet deadlinesHigh level business acumen and financial literacy skills to spot irregularities and successfully solve the issues/concernsAble to work independently and within a team environmentBenefitsFixed term contractEstablished organizationCulture that is positive and encouragingCompetitive salary packageFree parkingClose to public transportationInner-city location for convenience To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
