      Exclusive role just in!We are currently working with a valued client who is a global organisation. This company is an Australian, full-service logistics and supply chain services provider. This Australian company is a leader in their industry and due to company growth now requires their next committed Operations Supervisor. This is an exciting role for the NSW market. The package on offer will see you get the following:Monday - Friday HoursAbove award rates, annual salary package of up to 88k annually Autonomous working environmentFantastic company culture Secure your permanent role before the end of the financial year rush! About the role:Reporting to the Warehouse manager you will oversee a team of up to 8 direct reports. Overarching responsibility for the NSW day to day operations;. Organise the storage and movement of stock to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA’s). Store stock by work safe guidelines for racking and pallet storage.. Undertake regular checks to minimise stock loss, i.e. expiry dates and stock rotation of perishables.. Maintain storage requirements for perishable goods. Dispatch; Orders are picked, packed and outbound freight is staged by dispatch order. Freight carrier coordination for pick-up and delivery within planned customer delivery windowsCustomer service;.Orders are received and processed inline with customer expectations.Provide a high level of communications to customers logistics team;.Ensure communications are monitored and actioned timely;Workforce planning;. keeping within set budgets, with efficiency's and productivity forefront, rostered hourssupport planned daily throughput volume. Plan for and engage contract labour requirements in-line with volume expectationsSafety. Work with the NSW Warehouse Manager and National HSE Manager to organiseoperations to implement and maintain strong Safety-first initiatives;- record keeping obligations- complete Safety observations. Continuously improve productivity, accuracy, effectiveness and distribution performancespeed;. Provide support to staff on performing their role to the expected standards;.Assist in financial forecasting for budgeting and cost control purposes.Employee Relations. Maintain programs for staff retention, staff engagement, and building a positive culture. In consultation with the NSW Warehouse Manager, undergo task assessment tobenchmark performance expectations. Communicate company values and performance standards to employees via toolboxand other channelsTeam Management:– Position Description . Ensure your team meet daily targets to pick, pack, assemble and dispatch stock. Prioritise client orders according to the dispatch schedule. Maintain pick rate and accuracy targets. Daily activity record keeping, maintaining data accuracy. Time and attendance records including receipt of leave requests .
