This position will support the team through the design of Electronic elements and development of software tools for system testing and data analysis of the new technology systems. Responsibilities: Conducting data analysis using in-house software tools and generating written reports of resultsModelling of systems using Matlab/Simulink or alternativesTechnical review of reports and engineering work as part of the internal review/approval process, of work spanning a number of engineering disciplinesDeveloping scripts for testing equipmentTesting and reporting of prototype tests and evaluationsDesigning, developing and verifying allocated aspects for new products, processes and improvements to existing productsCommissioning of new electrical equipmentConducting test programThe successful candidate will have:Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronic EngineeringDemonstrated knowledge and experience in electrical and electronic systemsFault finding skills for electrical systemsExperience with product development (end to end) and design and/or engineering researchKnowledge of power electronics and DC electrical system design and testingKnowledge and experience in embedded programming, (C, Python or similar languages), FPGA design tools, modelling and software engineering processes)Knowledge and experience in design of embedded electronics hardwareThe ability to obtain an NV1 Australian Defence Security clearance (essential), or hold an existing clearance (desirable)Our client believes that success starts with their people.
