    Demand PlannerVoted as 1 of the best employers!Hybrid Role - Work from home & at the officeInternationally Recognised CompanyAbout The CompanyOur client is an internationally recognised supplier to the FMCG industry.About the RoleDue to growth and a substantial increase in workflow, a permanent opportunity is available for a Demand Planner to facilitate the demand management process by generating a forecast for a category supplied to the South Pacific market. Key areas of focus for the role includes:Develop the baseline statistical forecast using the demand planning system to support the monthly demand, using inputs from the Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments. Responsible for the accurate forecasts used to drive the supply chain forecasting while not adversely affecting service, inventory, or increasing freight costs. Advise management on future inventory spend.Communication of forecasts into the global IBP process.Conducts root cause analysis and corrective action planning to understand sales forecast accuracy and bias performance to support the feedback to Sales and Marketing teams.Provides the detailed analysis and reporting of forecast trends and accuracy to annual sales/operating plans to identify, communicate, and address gaps (volume & value).Establishes & maintains appropriate Forecasts or safety levels for all products within their launch phase.Partner with Supply Planner to facilitate Demand & Executive Demand Reviews.Ensure all obsolete products are accurately coded and communicate action plans around remaining inventory to relevant operational staff.Maintaining and updating documented procedures.Drive lean initiatives and continuous improvements within the Operations department. The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:Degree qualified would be highly desirableTwo to five years previous experience in procurement and/or production planning.
