The team have an immediate vacancy for a Manager, Property Analysis and Development in their Brisbane CBD office. The purpose of this role is to manage the property ownership function and provide high-level property analysis advice, drive strategic management and support government investment decisions.Key Duties:Manage diverse property projects in areas including acquisitions, disposals, Native Title clearance, tenure changes, volumetric titles, resolving joint government ownership issues, ad-hoc valuations, and arranging subdivisions and easements.Provide high-level leadership in the delivery of executive or sensitive projects and the provision of office accommodation for the department.Provide high-level property financial analysis expertise and advice to multi-disciplinary teams involved in strategic planning for the Queensland Government’s property portfolio.Manage financial budgets for asset acquisition or disposal and property projects.Develop and maintain a best practice research capability to support all aspects of property analysis required for all levels of government.Plan and deliver a valuation program to support the department’s property portfolio. Contribute to the area’s responsibilities in supporting internal and external stakeholders in terms of property analysis, financial assessments and benchmarking, to facilitate continuous improvement in the operation of the portfolio. The successful candidate will:Prior experience in managing diverse projects in areas such as subdivisions and easements, disposals, acquisitions and tenure changes.Possess sound business acumen in corporate governance areas, such as financial, contract, and project management.Future-focused in analysis, thought and action with a strong understanding of political sensitivity and risk. It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
