You will be working closely with a team of 6 people where you will be responsible for the Quality Assurance of products coming in and going out. Responsibilities Receipt of incoming tissue, and where applicable, associated testing specimens. Quality control testing of tissue, collection and dispatch of samples from all incoming tissue in compliance with documented protocols. Participate in the management and performance of equipment maintenance and calibration according to schedule. Completion and review of documentation for equipment maintenance. Printing of final product packaging labels as requested.Performing tasks related to quality systems including; non conformances, CAPA, change controls, audits and documentation. Driving completion of tasks to target dates.Perform plate counts for in-process monitoring and produce certificate of analysis for results. Perform released product transfers. Quality inspection and clearance of returned grafts. Provide assistance where required for duties in the Femoral Head/Living Donor tissue donation programs. Assist other staff in performing quality related tasks. Provide GMP and competency training for staff where required.Assist with the preparation of monthly quality metrics and system trending for reporting. Assist and conduct other quality tasks as required. Skills and QualificationsDegree qualification in science. Ability to work autonomously as part of a busy and dynamic team. Ability to acquire knowledge and understanding of the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice – Human Tissue, and TGO 88. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detailHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities. Excellent computer skills including a knowledge of spreadsheets and databases.
