        One of Australia's private leading principal rail contractors have an urgent requirement for a Contract Administrator to assist on a major program of works. Working closely with the Commercial Manager on the project, you will be managing the daily administrative and financial activities for the project. Main tasks include:Managing the tender process from sending it out in market, liaising with tenderers and closing tendersNegotiating with all tenderers - financial and commercialClosing out scope and T&C clarifications/departuresAssisting Project Managers in evaluation and complete scoring for all tenderersReplying to queries with both internal and external stakeholders for tender recommendationsDrafting and letting subcontractEnsuring fully executed subcontract agreement in placeUpdating and managing procurement register.To start, you will be based in the North Sydney office, working in the site office in Mascot for the second half of the project. We are currently seeking a Safety Administrator to join a major rail project, this candidate will be working with the project team to assist with safety performance, maintain reports and documentation regarding the aspects of project safety programs as well as assist with collating documentation for incident and accident investigations. Working with an experienced Health & Safety Manager, the Safety Administrator will administer the RIW (Rail Industry Worker) system, including the onboarding of new and transferring staff.Experience requiredExperience working in an administrative role within a project environment or equivalent industryExperienced in administration and document management practices and record managementUse of databasesExperience in use of Rail Industry Worker system (or equivalent)Benefits Above market salary Exposure on a major rail project with a global organisation Tight knit & supportive safety team Progression opportunitiesWe are looking to fill this position ASAP (start next week if possible).
