        Customer Service Representative Work within a fantastic state government organisation answering inbound calls from members of the public.3 months + contractParramatta location$30 per hour + super The RoleThis is a great opportunity to work for a state government organisation that prides themselves on their customer service to the public. You will be answering inbound calls from members of the public in regards to a new scheme the NSW Government has launched - Dine & Discover. This scheme supports dining, arts and tourism businesses, encouraging the community to get out and about. Every NSW resident aged 18 and over will be eligible for four $25 vouchers worth $100 in total. The vouchers can be used at participating NSW businesses who are registered as COVID Safe.This recruit is for multiple positions with the contracts starting 9th April 2021 for 3 months with the possibility of extension. The office is based in Parramatta, close to the train stationPlease note: Your hours of working will be 7 hours a day, 35 hours a week on a rotating roster Monday – Friday 7am - 7pm. You will need to be flexible to be able to work the different shifts required. The candidateYou as the successful person will be experienced working in a customer service or call centre role and will be able to demonstrate the following:Great communication skillsAbility to work towards KPIsProvide high level customer serviceExperience working in a call centre environment Successful candidates will be required to undergo a national police check.         A handful of urgent roles have become available for our NSW GOVERNMENT clients out West- Assessment officers/Case managers. These roles are a combination of working from the Parramatta site and working from home.Your role:This position undertakes assessments and provides advice, support and education concerning contacts made to the Child Wellbeing Unit and identifying potential responses to the department and/or other organisations to children or young people at risk of harm.You will be required to:Contribute to the development and delivery of training concerning child protection, in particular childprotection practice, policy, systems and procedures within the Department, when required.● Gathering information, undertaking assessments and providing consistent and high quality advice, guidanceand information to mandatory reporters with regard to students at risk of harm ensuring that the Departmentof Education complies with legislative and policy obligations in the area of child protection.● Identifying and providing advice to mandatory reporters concerning response options for students and/ortheir families who are at risk of harm or in need of assistance.● Providing advice to mandatory reporters and CWU staff regarding cultural and child protection issues andalso appropriate referral pathways for Aboriginal students and their families.Providing timely and accurate advice to CWU management on emergent issues including systemic, complex or critical issues.● Receiving reports of students at risk of harm from mandatory reporters, maintaining accurate records by entering appropriate and relevant information into the Child Wellbeing Unit’s (CWU) electronic client system in a timely manner.● Working collaboratively with CWU management and customers, senior Departmental officers , community partners and other Government organisations to drive better service delivery including integrated and coordinated service systems.To be succesful in this role- - over 2 years tenure in a similar role- Relevant qualification will be highly advantages as this will support your advice and approach. - Available immediately and able to clear x2 ref + police check + WWCCTo apply forward your resume in word format today to rawan.shakhtour@randstad.com.au with subject: Assessment officer| Randstad.Due to the anticipated number of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contact.
