        Our client is a leading Australian Manufacturing organisation with a rich history. They are recognised for their innovative approach to developing sustainable and high-performing building material for the residential and commercial segments across Australia.Key Responsibilities:Maintain production logsIdentify and report equipment and product faultsGeneral housekeepingEnsure machinery is operated safely and efficiently to maintain the required productionMonitor raw material stock levels Ensure products are prepared and ready to start at the beginning of the shiftReducing risks/hazards Unloading raw materials (manual handling and forklift driving) Attributes for success:Some mechanical aptitude with a minimum of 12 months experience in a manufacturing or production environmentStrong awareness and compliance for safetyA willingness to learn new information and skillsCommitment to ongoing training Ability to work unsupervisedAbility to handle multi-taskingA forklift licence is preferred Work hours: (hours may vary depending on the season)Day Shift: Monday to Thursday: 5 am till 1 pm / Friday 6 am till 12 pm Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday: 1 pm till 9 pm / Friday 12 pm till 6 pm Overtime will be available Weekend work may be requiredOnce fully trained across all machines you may be required to work afternoon shifts At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
