      Federal Government client based in Parramatta seeking an experienced Web-Designer with a Communications background to manage the day-to-day management of the organisation’s website including; supporting and improving the functionality of the website and supporting other activities of the Communications team and broader organisation.Key Accountabilities:Responsible for the day-to-day management of the website (Drupal-based)Support projects to improve the functionality of the website and user experienceIdentify opportunities to improve the website and user experienceDraft, edit and proof content for the website (BAU for web content updates)Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersProvide advice and assistance on ad-hoc queries about reporting and coordination activitiesDevelopment of a website manual/guidelinesKey Requirements:Demonstrated ability to manage a website successfullyStrong knowledge of WCAG accessibility requirementsExcellent writing skills and attention to detailA tertiary qualification in communications, digital or related field is highly desirablePrevious APS or government experience within a web or communications team or is highly desirable, along with a familiarity of Government processesPublishing knowledge – ie.
