The role comprises implementing the current safety and quality management system and getting out to sites as a source of guidance and support to the project teams. There is diversity in the role and an opportunity to step up and be the most senior point of contact for safety and quality. KEY EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Risk identification & assessment, ensuring regulations are metCarry out health and safety audits and work- place inspectionsSteer the development and implementation of HSEQ standards that align with compliance and due diligence requirementsWork closely with senior management to adhere to legislative requirementsPromote best practice and a positive safety cultureImplement system changes and improvements to demonstrate continuous improvementExperience dealing with Safework AustraliaActively analysing Safety performance, reporting, system updatesMaintaining the company Integrated Management System to an accredited levelQuality auditing and quality management system implementationQUALIFICATION / SALARY: Diploma in OHS or related fieldExperience in residential or commercial construction projects as a Safety officer, safety coordinator or safety advisorImpeccable verbal and written communication skillsCitizenship or permanent resident visa is a mustCurrent drivers licence & willing to travelCulture This firm is very focussed on their staff, encouraging constant development, training and promotion.
