Key responsibilities include:
... - Policy and Compliance: Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice.
- Employee Relations support and coordinate staff performance and wellbeing initiatives.
- Reporting and Audits: Prepare HR metrics reports and conduct regular audits and analysis to mitigate risks.
- Workforce Management: Support workforce planning, maintain accurate records, and manage organisational charts and position descriptions.
- Child Safety: Uphold and promote child safety standards through recruitment practices and staff education.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Human Resources Management with at least two years of experience in an HR advisory role.
- Demonstrated experience in compliance, policy development, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to child safety and ethical behaviour with relevant qualifications.
- A current WWCC or the willingness to obtain.
- A current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate - with a commitment to on-going training.
- A current anaphylaxis management qualification or willingness to obtain.
- A current asthma management qualification or willingness to obtain.
