About the role:
You will work within a professional, friendly and supportive team-oriented environment where you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of workers compensation claims within one of the big four banks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims from end-to-end
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant information and advice
- Requesting, collecting and assessing relevant information and evidence to make claims determinations
- Determining initial and ongoing claim liability by understanding and applying the relevant jurisdictional legislation
- Corresponding with claimants, medical practitioners and other service providers in line with legislative framework and timeframes as required

Skills and Experience:
Our client is looking for someone with previous and recent experience in claims for workers compensation. If you bring experience in this area and enjoy operating in a team-based environment, we encourage you to apply.
- 3-5+ years experience working within workers compensation, ideally within a self-insurance environment
- Strong knowledge of the relevant Victorian workers compensation legislation
- Ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and parties
- Ability to deliver adverse outcomes in a caring and professional manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
