About your new role
The Talent Acquisition Officer plays a vital role in driving recruitment activities over a set timeframe, adapting to the evolving needs of the organisation. Collaborating closely with both internal departments and external partners, this position ensures an efficient and positive recruitment process from start to finish.
What you will need to exceed
- Proficient in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition creation and advertising to interviewing, assessment, and onboarding.
- Strong ability to identify and engage high-quality candidates through various sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with hiring managers, candidates, external providers and internal teams.
- Experience administering recruitment platforms.
- Ability to work effectively within a People and Culture team, supporting broader HR functions and initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.

- Experience in working for local government sector
