IT Project Manager – Retail & Network Infrastructure Refresh
6-Month Contract | Full-Time | Melbourne-Based
We’re supporting a major enterprise organisation as they deliver a large-scale network refresh program across their national footprint—including 70+ corporate retail stores and distribution centres. As part of this initiative, they’re seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning and rollout of Meraki-based infrastructure, replacing legacy MPLS and ensuring consistent, reliable store and DC connectivity.
What you’ll be doing:
... Lead the end-to-end delivery of a network and infrastructure refresh across corporate retail sites and DCs.
Oversee the replacement of MPLS connections with Meraki-based solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Coordinate with internal infrastructure teams and third-party vendors to manage scope, timelines, and quality of rollout.
Support discovery, scheduling, and risk mitigation across 70+ stores
Manage technical dependencies and cross-functional stakeholder engagement between IT, store operations, and network partners.
Track progress across multiple workstreams and ensure issues are resolved promptly to keep delivery on track.
About you:
Strong experience as a Project Manager delivering retail infrastructure or network programs.
Solid understanding of network architecture and technologies (MPLS, SD-WAN, Meraki, store connectivity).
Proven ability to manage vendors and align technical delivery with operational realities.
Comfortable working across retail store environments and enterprise IT teams.
Organised, proactive, and capable of keeping multiple moving parts aligned and accountable.
Available for an immediate start (2+ week notice periods not suitable).
