We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Sales Estimator with experience in electronic security, building automation, or fire safety integration. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our sales team by preparing accurate and competitive estimates and assisting with tender take-offs for complex integrated systems projects.

You will collaborate with account executives, project managers, and technical teams to ensure estimates align with project scopes, timelines, and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for integrated electronic systems projects.

• Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and bid documents to develop accurate take-offs.

• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and technical details.

• Assist with tender submissions, ensuring compliance with bid requirements and deadlines.

• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure estimates meet strategic and financial targets.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation and pricing databases.

• Support pre-sales efforts and customer engagement by providing technical input during the sales cycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a sales estimator, preferably within electronic security, building automation, or fire safety industries.

• Strong technical understanding of integrated building systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for detailed estimate building.

• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/CRM systems.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of low-voltage systems integration.

• Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare or financial security projects.

• Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
