        As the Splunk Monitoring Engineer you will participate in various aspects of analysis, design, development and evaluation of Splunk Monitoring Solutions across IT and the business, and be a subject matter expert on the configuration of Splunk to monitor large scale enterprise systems solutions. Your Tasks:Responsible for the company Splunk environment including: data source on boarding, content development, alert creation, access administration, dashboard and application design and development.Design, develop and deliver solutions using Splunk and other relevant technologies.You will engage and work with the business to research, analyse and review business, functional and technical requirements, design and support implementations, conduct diagnostics, create design documents, prepare test data, build and deliver monitoring solutions.Define, maintain, and enforce best practices for the Splunk practice.Support the Business by troubleshooting issues, analysing, identifying, and tuning Splunk user dashboards for performance.Develop and maintain support documentation for technical add-ons.Implement and adhere to information security best practice as outlined in the Acceptable Use Policy.Comply with and uphold all information security policies applicable to the role.Safeguard the businesses information assets – whether digital, physical, or in other form – and the associated applications and devices accompanying them. Monitor and report any potential security incidents to the Manager / Cyber Security Manager.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Splunk and system monitoring and undertake continuous learning and training.
