The team are recruiting for a Senior Civil Construction Project Manager to join on a contract basis until Jan 2022 with the potential to extend. Responsibilities:Project manage multiple road infrastructure projects, or more complex projects, throughout the project life cycle through the implementation of efficient procedures and best practice.Use technical knowledge, expertise, and leadership to co-ordinate all relevant activities to ensure successful delivery of projects within time, quality, cost and other project targets.Ensure all operational system procedures are adhered to in order to facilitate the delivery of projects to a high standard.Ensure all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary for the delivery of projects are complied with.Plan, assign, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of team members.Prepare and manage tenders and estimates to support the business unit in achieving its organisational goals.Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to transport infrastructure delivery activities.Determine the engineering requirements, including materials, critical components and systems, involved in temporary works necessary for project delivery. Skills & Experience:A Degree in Civil Engineering Demonstrated understanding of project management principles and methodology Comprehensive knowledge of civil road construction and maintenanceSound business management skills in corporate governance including financial, contract and project managementValid Queensland ‘C’ class driver’s licenceDesired: Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
