        Our Queensland State Government client is seeking multiple experienced Senior Architects to join their team. These roles will be based in their Brisbane CBD office and engaged on an initial 12-month basis with the opportunity to extend. Senior Architect (1) - 2 positionsPreparation of feasibility/ design option study and schematic design reports for government building projects including:Defining project scopes and client reverse briefs,Determination of site/ location/ planning requirements / parameters,Presentation of design options in graphic and word formats,Budget estimate analysis,Liaising with internal and external clients and undertaking meetings with key stakeholders Support role when requested with respect to the provision of design review services to assist the social housing architects within the team.Travel within the State to undertake site inspections and carry out other duties may be a requirement. Senior Architect (2) - 2 positionsAssisting the social housing architects with respect to government social housing projects including: Preparation of feasibility options, Preparation of PD drawings, Preparation of SD drawings, Consultancy design reviews. Provision of responses to RFIs. Liaising with social housing architect team members and the project PMs. Liaising with internal and external clients and undertaking meetings with key stakeholders such as HPO. Support role for the preparation of feasibility/ design option study and schematic design reports for government building projects. Support role for the provision of design review services auditing external consultancy designs. Senior Architect (3) - 1 positionPreparation of feasibility options and schematic designs for government employee housing building projects including:Preparation of feasibility options,Preparation of PD drawings,Preparation of SD drawings,Consultancy design reviews.Provision of responses to RFIs.Liaising with internal and external clients and undertaking meetings with key stakeholders.Assisting the social housing architects with respect to government social housing projects including:Preparation of feasibility options,Preparation of PD drawings,Preparation of SD drawings,Consultancy design reviews.Provision of responses to RFIs.Liaising with social housing architect team members and the project PMs Skills & Experience:Mandatory: Registration as an Architect (Qld).Minimum of 10 years experience, post registration as an Architect.Proven high level of experience as a Senior Architect working on varied Queensland Government projects.Desired:Experience with respect to working within departmental procedures and policy framework.High level of experience with departmental building design guidelines.Competency in Autocad and or Revit.Proficiency in the preparation of Consultancy ToRs.Project design review and analysis skills.Experience with interpreting relevant statutory authority requirements. It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
