        Your new companyMy client is an international FMCG giant with several well-known household brand names under their portfolio. They are an US-based company that was established over 100 years with an Australian arm that recorded over a half a billion dollars revenue in recent years. This group experienced significant growth during the 2020 lockdown period and the Finance team experienced a very low turn over for the last few years. Currently a 12 months fixed term contract exists for an experienced Financial Accountant with an audit background and exposure to corporate taxes and statutory reporting. About the OpportunityReporting directly to the Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:Prepare monthly and annual statutory accounts and take responsibility for month end closureCompany tax accounting (indirect and direct taxes) responsibilities for both AU & NZ which includes preparing tax packs, tax reporting & analysisMonthly reconciliations to identify variances and investigate themBusiness partnering with other departments to drive accuracy of COGS and other relevant costsCost analysis and investigation of significant variances to budgetAssist with internal and external auditsOther ad hoc reporting in assistance to the Financial Controller Ideal ProfileThis is an ideal opportunity for a big-4 or mid tier first time mover with corporate tax and statutory reporting experienceCA/CPA qualified Auditor or Financial AccountantIdeal for a big-4 or mid tier leaver with 4 to 5 years of experience OR industry experience with a multinational FMCG companyCorporate tax within a multinational company experience will be highly advantageousBusiness partnering exposure Your BenefitsEstablished, large, multinational FMCG companyGreat company benefits such as attending events and free productsSupportive team and a manager who would be an amazing mentorGreat systems such as SAP and Hyperion To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
