Risk Manager – Risk Event & Breach Management Implementation
Contract: 6 Months
Location: Melbourne (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to support the implementation of new Risk Event and Breach Management processes, delivered as part of a major enterprise risk transformation program.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the rollout of enhanced risk event and breach management frameworks and procedures across the organisation.
Engage with risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure effective adoption and consistent application of the new processes.
Provide subject matter expertise on operational risk incidents, root cause analysis, and breach remediation activities.
Contribute to change management, communications, and training initiatives to support successful implementation.
Identify opportunities to improve risk controls, reporting, and incident capture practices.
About You:
Extensive experience in Risk Management within banking, financial services, or highly regulated industries.
Strong working knowledge of risk event and breach management processes and regulatory expectations.
Proven stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across multiple business units.
Experience working within risk transformation or change programs highly desirable.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
This is a high-impact role contributing to meaningful risk uplift and process improvement across a complex financial services environment.
Hybrid role – 3 days onsite in Melbourne.
