Are you an experienced Records and Information Management professional ready to apply your expertise in a supportive team environment? An essential service provider is seeking a dedicated Records Officer for a 6-month contract to help deliver and improve information and records management services.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Team Leader - Information Management , your primary objective will be to work with the Risk & Governance Team to identify, design, build, and implement information and records management services. This role is key to ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and advice from the Public Records Office of Victoria.
Key Duties Include:
... - Directly supporting the development and coordination of the organisation's records management program.
- Consulting, supporting, and advising staff to encourage good recordkeeping practices.
- Coordinating an efficient and effective archival management program.
- Providing backup support for the management and operation of electronic records and document management systems (EDRMS).
- Overseeing the Records Management ticket queue, resolving problem and incident tickets.
- Developing, communicating, and maintaining Records Management Standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Supervising mailing activities.

You are a proactive, communicative, and skilled professional with experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Essential Skills & Experience (Key Selection Criteria):
- Relevant qualifications (Diploma minimum) and/or demonstrated experience of at least three (3) years in applying good record-keeping practices within an organisation.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of record management principles, processes, standards, and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and effectively plan your workload.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- A Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
