Responsibilities:
- Transcribe audio and video submissions, manually or via approved automated transcription tools, and check for accuracy.
- Import and organise data into formats suitable for analysis – e.g. spreadsheets or qualitative data analysis software such as NVivo.
- Code qualitative data, including generating codes and identifying themes.
- Work collaboratively to ensure data is analysed rigorously and consistently.
Key Capabilities:
- Experience in qualitative research methodologies.
- Experience analysing qualitative evidence within health and/or disability research would be highly desirable.
- Proficiency in thematic analysis and qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo or similar).
- Understanding of sources of bias in qualitative analysis, and strategies to mitigate risk of biased interpretation and reporting of results.
