About the Role
As Quality Control Manager, you'll be instrumental in maintaining our client's reputation for excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- System Development & Audits: Establishing and overseeing comprehensive quality control policies and conducting regular audits.
- Team Leadership: Supervising and developing quality control teams at both Victorian and interstate facilities.
- Production Collaboration: Working closely with production managers to resolve quality issues and enhance processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all relevant quality regulations.
- Documentation & Analysis: Maintaining detailed quality records and analyzing data for improvement.
- Customer & NCR Management: Directly engaging with customers to address and resolve quality concerns.
- Inter-site Coordination: Fostering consistency in quality standards and practices across both locations.
- Continuous Improvement: Leading initiatives to boost product quality and operational efficiency
About YOU:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial)
- At least 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and/or HACCP
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to travel interstate to visit second site when required
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE) is a plus.
- Experience with modern quality improvement tools and techniques is a plus.
