The Senior Project manager will be responsible for: Delivering high quality civil infrastructure projects on deadline, within budget and to Council standards and specifications (this may include the delivery of projects such as new footpaths, drainage upgrades, sports courts and significant road projects). Communicating efficiently with and providing excellent Project Management services to Project Sponsors for the delivery of capital works projects - in accordance with Council’s Project Management Framework Providing specialist advice and guidance to fellow team members who undertake aspects of the project delivery; and Effectively advising and assisting in the planning, design, project management, monitoring, auditing, and renewal of Council’s civil infrastructure assets. What you will need to be successful We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Senior Project Manager who has years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in the construction of roads, drainage and various other civil infrastructure assets.This individual will have strong project management skills, alongside sound financial and budgeting practices - including the ability to construct and manage project budget allocations. You will be someone who leads from the front, thinks methodically, can work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment, as well as someone who possesses a high standard of stakeholder management, problem solving, negotiation and engagement skills.
