About the roleWork closely with the Operational Team to manage workload and operational planning Manage incoming customer bookings incoming from the customer, create Sales Orders to process shipments/LoadsManifest the driver loads in SAP.Raising pre-approvals and Purchase OrderOrdering stock & uniformsUpdating employee foldersUpdating Documents and ensuring all documents are current on systemsProviding support to Supervisors & Management Process site invoicesCustomer RelationshipWorking collaboratively with our customers to ensure delays and/or service issues are communicated proactively and to the business.Supporting innovation and supporting best outcomes for our customer, including relationship management/stakeholder management at the customer sitesEnsure all deliveries/pick-ups are performed efficiently and on-schedule, specific customer requests or concerns are reported and communicated, this includes documenting and communicate any routing delays which may include actual follow confirmation of departures or deliveries.Take a proactive approach to customer relationship management and representation in the highestprofessional and ethical manner.Accountabilities and Key Result Areas Regularly liaising with drivers, loading staff, and customers to resolve issues promptly and effectively.Ensure that all loads have been planned, loaded delivered, and closed out for invoicing.Being organised, detail-oriented, and prioritising tasks for completing in a timely manner.Enjoying people interaction, caring about & producing high-quality outcomes.Being flexible in adapting to unexpected changes and adjustments.Be able to demonstrate with data the position of the issues “not yet closed out” to management before the weekly calls.Maintain effective customer engagement as well as engagement with our 3rd party operator. Qualifications and Experience2+ years operational experience in a complex logistics environmentKnowledge and experience of industrial truck and trailer configurations.Strong transport/Rail background or similar experience in a planning and allocation role.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience using SAPAbility to interpret data and effectively communicate issues in the logistics network and fixing/clear out the issues daily.A good understanding of using systems and running reports.Able to multi-task, share team responsibilities to maintain maximum monitoring level of prompt, efficient and courteous customer service.Flexible and accountable approach to work commitments operating effectively in a team environment as well as independently.To apply for this position or any other current roles we are working on please submit a recent resume via seek.
