Our federal government client is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to support the Chief Architect with the successful delivery of activities and upgrades by adding their expertise and knowledge to the design and implementation of components of the environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing input, and contributing, to the detailed designs to inform the delivery of the upgrades. There are significant time constraints with this delivery, and the candidate will need to manage their time wisely with a focus on delivery of high quality artefacts and attention to detail with any task that is undertaken.

As a Project Manager, you will be:

• Using departmental frameworks, and enterprise tools, to develop project governance for the upcoming activities.
• Using industry standards to develop and own processes for stakeholder engagement and input to key project artefacts.
• Developing and implementing a Project Management Plan (PMP) for the upgrades.
• Developing and implementing project control registers, which include dependencies, risk, issues, change control and actions.
• Developing and implementing a Stakeholder Engagement Plan.

The successful candidate must have:

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Project Manager delivering ICT projects within a Federal Government environment.
• Demonstrated experience and relevant project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience working within a high-functioning ICT Team.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Visio.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency Reporting for briefing leadership.
