A fast-growing construction and civil services company based in Melbourne’s Southeast is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead project delivery with a hands-on, values-driven approach. This business delivers high-quality solutions across concreting, steel fixing, formwork, civil and industrial plumbing, and excavations, servicing clients Australia-wide, with projects primarily spanning concrete batching plants and quarry sites.

Project Leadership & Team Management
Lead and support project teams, ensuring clarity in roles and accountability

Implement performance systems and drive team excellence
Project Planning & Execution
Identify project risks and manage mitigation strategies
Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and reports
Oversee and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
Performance & Delivery
Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
Manage changes, issues, and stakeholder communications
Conduct post-project reviews to support continuous improvement
Meetings & Communication
Lead client and team meetings with structured agendas and follow-up actions
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and ensure project goals stay front of mind
Quality, Safety & Documentation
Uphold commitment to OH&S across all sites
Ensure proper project documentation and adherence to an Integrated Management System
Business & Leadership Support
Provide technical input for new tenders and costings
Serve as an escalation point for project-related client issues
Act as a delegate for senior leadership when required
Proven experience in project management within construction or civil services
Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities
Strong communication, planning, and risk management skills
Deep understanding of site safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards
A positive, can-do attitude with a client-first mentality
